The Power of the Breath

Our breath is an integral part to our mind body interaction.

Bringing awareness to the breath regularly throughout the day and noticing how we breathe, can help us notice how we feel at each given moment.  When we are aware of something, we have the power to change it. Shallow and irregular breathing results in stress, lack, contraction in the body and negativity in the mind.  Deeper more regulated breath, helps the nervous system to balance, we can start to feel more joy, abundance and expansion in the body and calmness as well as clarity of the mind!

Nobody else but ourselves can change our experiences!

So lets take a moment to check our breathing!

Breathing with awareness

Helps me to realise

Is my experience one of lack?

Or abundance is the price?

 

When stress restricts the breath flow in

Mind-body becomes unbalanced

Fear sets in, lack, struggle within

Breathing becomes a challenge

 

Abundance comes when we receive

Each breath in gratitude and grace

Giving it back just as lovingly

With an accepting, calming face
